Any team that works on product development is familiar with the feeling of growing excitement before the product launch.
On the one hand, you always seem to have something to be fine-tuned, polished - let’s say, move a button couple of pixels left, make it less bright and more user-friendly.
On the other hand – everyone is eager to know that the securest and the best messenger ever is available on Google Play and users can download it! It’s an everlasting struggle of opposites.
The fight is finally over – summer 2015: SafeUM secure messenger is available on Google Play!
We asked our team of testers (thank YOU, our dear friends, for all your hard work) to highlight three most significant improvements implemented in SafeUM messenger for Android for the three pre-release months. Here they are! – leading features by usefulness for users:
1. HD voice quality when making an audio call.
2. Stable functioning of encrypted group chats.
3. Immediate security notification in case of an unauthorized access attempt to your account from another device.
And immediately we received feedback from users who had already installed SafeUM: "... the install is complicated," "... the sound rocks!", "when will we get SafeUM for a desktop?" You see, someone is even angry with us :) It means the process keeps going.
Although we always respond to each user personally, here is the answer for everyone: "Yes, you personally may now forget the phrase" it's not a phone conversation": all your voice and video calls are encrypted in such a way that neither mobile operators, nor internet providers, nor public Wi-Fi networks, nor SafeUM developers, nor anybody else can decrypt your conversations and chats.”
