The reason why Microsoft has launched Windows Technical Preview is the collection of user feedback, in order to issue a new final Windows 10 version, which is planned to release in 2015.
Windows 10 beta version asks to register in Windows Insider Program and then a user must send the reviews about the new system at a specific time. But as it turned out they are not interested in your mind only.
If you read the rules of Windows Insider Program attentively, we can see that Microsoft is interested not only in your point of view. Microsoft collects information about users, treir devices, applications and networks, and their use of those devices, applications and networks. Examples of data they collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage.
But that's not all. Windows Technical Preview collects the typing in OS, the information about your files and system settings, voice input, detailed data in the programs and information about the file. The most interesting thing is that they will even be able to read your search queries (everyone who likes porno will not escape). In common it is called keylogger. Finding this in Windows 10, the user will unlikely enjoy this operating system. Many people claim that Microsoft will not dare to use this personal information for profit, but still it is not pleasant to realize that apart from you, someone can see and know your banking data that you use in order to purchase various things online.
How can you protect yourself? It is hard to say. You can exit Windows Insider Program and limit a new real-time telemetry system, which according to Microsoft can see what is going on users' machines. It seems that the only solution to protect yourself is to set Windows 8.1 or 7 back. Remember that Microsoft can track all your steps. It just goes to show that Microsoft information security standards are too weak.
According to Microsoft experts, as soon as Windows 10 receives RTM-status, the data collection will be stopped and the information will be deleted. The biggest Windows 8 problem was that Microsoft did not listen to its users. The issue was solved and they decided to start listening to them very attentively.
