U.S. intelligence intercepted communications of the German Government.

National security agency intercepted the messages that came from the German Government. The documents that were published by Edward Snowden were marked with a special code SI.

This code indicates that the information in these documents is based on wiretapping materials. Part of the documents belongs to the Government of Germany. This brings us to the conclusion. The German Federal Government may spy on by NSA.

The sources in the defense circles in the U.S. have confirmed the information about surveillance the government by the representatives of the U.S. intelligence services to German edition. Official Washington didn’t react on the information that had been published by the German edition.

Recently, the German journalists reveal more and more new facts that show the work of American intelligence services and their connection to the German business.

On the 25th of July, analytical edition Focus had published an article that described the cooperation of the leading German companies in the field of communication Deutsche Telecom and U.S. National Security Agency. According to media reports, this cooperation began in 2000, when the German company entered the U.S. communication market. A representative of the company did not deny the fact of contact between workers Deutsche Telecom, but noted that the company provided to the U.S. intelligence only the data of the U.S. citizens.

The scandal around the monitoring of electronic communications of U.S. citizens by U.S. intelligence began in June in 2013. British newspaper The Guardian reported about scale wiretapping operations that intelligence had already been led for many years. Newspaper articles were based on inside information. Information about wiretapping was handed to the journalists by former CIA officer Edward Snowden. After the publication of data, he fled from the United States to Hong Kong, and then to the Moscow airport "Sheremetyevo". Presumably, Snowden is now in the transit area of the airport.
